Marie de Koning - Chair
Marie is the face of Sarphati and provides direction and leadership. Besides that, she maintains the contact with the programs and other associations.

My favourite memories with Sarphati are the bus rides during the Roundtrip with Kostas behind the wheel. This man drove like an idiot through the northern Macedonian mountains, overtaking trucks in hairpin bends and krisskrossing all over the width of the highway. Everyone was screaming, but it was actually quite funny too.

Fleur Zonneveld - Secretary

Among Fleur's responsibilities are taking care of social media, the newsletter and all things related to administration. It is also her job to take minutes whenever possible!

My favourite memory with Sarphati was during the 2023 roundtrip, the boat trip in Ohrid and the hungover bus rides with no toilet :)

Lucas Klerks - Treasurer

Lucas is our treasurer and is responsible for everything within the association that concerns money and bookkeeping. No penny goes through unchecked, Lucas ensures a stable financial state of Sarphati!​

My best memory with Sarphati is still the hitchhiking weekend to Berlin. I was so fuzzy after going out at 6am or so, that I fell asleep the whole time and thought we were already in the Netherlands, while we were 5 metres from the hostel in Berlin!

Quinten Seeling - Vice-chair

Quinten is vice-chair, and takes care of the communication with the members and manages the committees. 

My favourite memory of Sarphati is last year's ski trip. Saw a lot of nice and beautiful places and had a great time partying every night!

Sep van Haren - Commissioner External Affairs

Sep is our commissioner for external affairs. He is primarily in contact with businesses, partners and alumni. He also maintains our LinkedIn-page.​

I always say: the most fun I've had in my life so far is the ski trip in La Plagne in 2022 with Sarphati. Enjoying beers and dances in the evening, only to slide down the pistes, or roll, the day after, hungover on skis.
