In the Netherlands, the broad network consists of more than 1,500 Dutch organisations, including major cities, governments and business. They participate in Esri Netherlands' events. Every year, more than 3,500 people meet to learn from each other and gain knowledge about geo-information.
Esri employees enjoy being challenged to work with these organisations to see what role geography can play to solve issues. Esri Nederland's 180 employees work daily to make organisations successful in using geo-information. It inspires them to use maps to look further and push boundaries. Partly for this reason, we have been investing heavily in Research & Development since our foundation in 1969. We do the same in education. More than 200 educational institutions in the Netherlands train the new generation of professionals with ArcGIS, so that they are well prepared for the job market.

Working at Esri means continuous learning, in breadth and depth. Interns here get to work on innovative GIS topics, such as machine learning, BIM and Change Detection, and gain a lot of experience with the ArcGIS platform.
You can also give your GIS career a flying start at Esri Netherlands. For example, by taking part in our traineeship in which you are trained in technical knowledge and soft skills over two years. But even as a non-trainee, Esri offers sufficient career opportunities to develop into the next generation of GIS experts.
