Upcoming activities
The 16th of february
We all know that cities need urgent solutions to mitigate climate change and become healthier, but where should we start? Amsterdam rainproof and De Gezonde Stad are convinced that change is enabled by doing, and they have decided to get work done. During this evening, we will learn about how to engage residents, authorities and organisations to help with the transformation of Amsterdam into a greener and more resilient city. |
Network-building and community action are the domains of our guests, who will tell us about their visionary projects and will give us some tips about how to think in opportunities and how to break through existing silos.
Amsterdam Rainproof is a network platform for climate adaptation and De Gezonde Stad is a foundation that aims at making Amsterdam more sustainable and healthy by starting projects and events together with communities. Join us for a casual online talk and an open debate.

Master Committee
This year, for the first time, Sarphati has its own Master Committee which organises activities especially for Master students. This committee hosts social, educational and carreer events and aims to improve the social network of Master Students.
Chair: Daan Lammers Members: Daan Butterman, Antonia Dubberke, Lluís Martínez, Noor Vet, Floris van Rutten |
Program Committee
For those of you that might not know already, and for those that do, we are the student members of the Program Committee (or Opleidingscommissie) of the Masters Human Geography and Urban and Regional Planning. This year we will be representing the opinion of students in the Program Committee. We will be looking at the program of the masters (giving solicited and unsolicited advice). We will look at the teaching and examination regulation (OER in Dutch) and evaluate this. We are very happy to have gotten the task of being your voice in the committee. That’s why we are very interested in your opinion and view on your Master. Please feel free to call, email or WhatsApp us.
As of today we also have our own email-address, so contacting us is easier than ever. You can reach out to us via studentdelegation-pc-hg-urp@uva.nl (in English or Dutch).
